Dear Members,

We enjoy golf as much as anyone, here at Cabra we also appreciate our mates we play with and understand the importance of looking after one another.  So, for now it is business as usual at Cabramatta Golf Club unless otherwise advised by the relevant authorities.  We will be increasing our current standards of cleanliness including the following guidelines until further notice.  It is likely these strategies will be updated as the situation evolves.

We respectfully ask members and visitors to NOT attend the clubhouse or play golf if any of the following applies to you:

  • You have any cold or flu symptoms,
  • You have had contact in the past 14 days with any person who has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

At the Clubhouse or during play:

  • The Clubhouse is closed and is only accessed to enter your score card during competitions.
  • Refreshments are only available for takeaways to be consumed off the premises.
  • Minimisation of direct physical interaction with others.  For example, do not shake hands, kiss and try and keep a distance of 4mtrs from others.
  • Regularly wash hands and do not rub your face.
  • Where possible leave the flag stick in or ensure you are wearing your glove when removing.
  • There will be preferred lies thru the green including bunkers (rakes not available)
  • No flags on practice putting green
  • On the green the cup now has a sleeve so ball rests at top of hole.
  • Carts are not to be shared and sanitized prior to use.
  • Carts can carry 2 sets of clubs but must not be shared.
  • If you need to cough or sneeze, it’s time to dab and sneeze into your arm not into your hands.
  • Where possible pay via your card/pay wave not coins.
  • Please leave the keys in carts and we will clean the carts after use.
  • Ensure all rubbish is removed from the cart and placed in the bins provided.

The above recommendations are based on information from Golf Australia and are to be used as a guide only.  Please also see the NSW Department of Health and Human Services webpage for further information.

If there are any questions, please contact the GM or any members of the board.

Thank you
Ray Wilson
President Cabramatta Golf Club

Forced Clubhouse Closure Due To Corona Virus – CPVID -19.

We regret to advise that Cabramatta Golf Club will cease to operate its Licensed Clubhouse Operations as of Midday Monday 23rd March 2020.

Our beautiful golf course will continue to be maintained by our dedicated staff and be available to both our members and public 7 days a week.

Current regulations do allow for the purchase of take away drink sales to be sold from our main bar and consumed off premise.

We do ask that “social distancing & common sense” be practiced.

WPT Poker has been cancelled until further notice.

Spin ‘n Win has been cancelled until further notice.

With the closure of Clubhouse operations there will be no catering operations however some take away food options may be available for golfers.

The Clubs loyal permanent staff will be operating off a reduced skeleton roster of 10am to 5pm 7 days per week.

Obviously things are changing on a daily basis and we will continue to evolve and follow the Government guidelines.

Thankyou for your continued support!
